Electron-impact excitation cross sections for 5P0 and 5D0 states of an iron atom
Description
The excitation of the 5P0 and 5D0 states of the iron atom has been investigated by the method of crossing atomic and electron beams. The absolute values of excitation cross sections or 74 lines of Fe 1 in the region 2000-6000 A have been measUred, with the energy of exciting electrosns up to 50 eV. For 36 lines, the optical excitation functions have been detected
