Charged current structure functions from neutrino-nucleon scattering in a fine gained detector at the Tevatron
Creators
Description
Preliminary F2 and xF3 structure functions from neutrino-nucleon scattering in the E733 fine grained detector at Fermilab are presented. During 1985 and 1987/88 fixed-target runs, the FNAL-E733 detector was exposed to the highest energy neutrino beam available, the Tevatron Quadrupole-Triplet Wide Band neutrino beam. The Quad-Triplet Beam offers the unique opportunity to study neutrino-nucleon scattering over a larger Q2 range than in previous neutrino experiments. In addition, preliminary results on ΛQCD will be presented. FMMF is a collaboration of Fermilab, Michigan State University, MIT, and the University of Florida
