Design specifications of the RA reactor ventilation system reconstruction

Description
The objective of the reconstruction of the RA reactor ventilation system is protection of the staff and the environment from uncontrolled release of radioactive particles and gasses originating from steady state reactor operation or accidental conditions. Protection from radioactive wastes should be provided by constructing filtering appliances into ventilation systems: 1. filters for eliminating particulates in V1 and V2 systems for steady state operating conditions; 2. adsorption carbon filters in V2 system for eliminating gaseous pollutants under accidental conditions; and 3. providing occasional application of adsorption filters in V2 system for special operating needs. The design projects includes the following: description of the fundamental role of the ventilations system, description of the existing RA reactor ventilation system, fundamentals of safety criteria, basic solution of the reconstruction of the RA reactor ventilation system, preliminary calculations of the reconstruction parameters, preliminary specifications of the main equipment of the ventilation system reconstruction. It is recommended to reconstruct the RA ventilation system without constructing new additional buildings

Cilj rekonstrukcije ventilacionog sistema reaktora RA je zastita osoblja i okoline reaktora od nekontrolisanog sirenja, putem vazduha, cesticnih i gasnih raioktivnih produkata nastalih i oslobodjenih pri normalnim i akcidentalnim uslovima rada reaktora. Zastitu od radioaktivnih zagadjivaca obezbediti ugradnjom filtera u evakuacione ventilacione sisteme i to: 1. za normalne radne uslove, u sistemima V1 i V2 predvideti ugradnju filtera za eliminaciju cesticnih produkata; 2. za udesne uslove rada, u sistemu V2 predvideti ugradnju adsorpcionih (ugljenih) filtera za eliminaciju gasnih polutanata; 3. za posebne pogonske potrebe, u sistemu V2, obezbediti mogucnost povremenog koriscenja adsorpcionog filtera. Idejni projekat sadrzi: uvod-osnovne zadatke ventilacionog sistema nuklearnoh reaktora, tehnicki opis postojeceg ventilacionog sistema reaktora RA, osnovne kriterijume sigurnoti ventilacionih sistema nuklearnih postrojenja, osnovno resenje rekonstrukcije ventilacionog sistema reaktora RA, preliminarni proracun tehnickih parametara rekonstrukcije, preliminarnu specifikaciju glavne opreme rekonstrukcije ventilacionog sistema.
