Description
The Compton spectrum for 0.8-6 MeV γ-rays in plastic scintillation fibers was studied by using Geant4.7.0. The relationship between energy resolution and fiber radius was discussed. The cross talks between fibers were also studied by using a simple model. The results show that for appropriate radius, a better Compton spectrum can be obtained. The best energy resolution can achieve 8.7% with the radius of 15-35 mm. (authors)
