On rare forms of Hodgkin's disease manifestation
Description
X-Ray diagnosis of secondary involvement of the vertebrae in Hodgkin's disease in difficult because pathognomonic shadow symptoms are absent. Interpretation of roentgenograms is still more difficult when a soft-tissue component which may simulate a cold abscess appears in the paravertebral area. Differential diagnosis is based on the clinical and x-ray correlations and histologic findings. 15 refs.; 4 figs
