Spontaneous fission description by coupled channels method
Description
The spontaneous fission description by coupled channels method is given. The potential energy surface of 258Fm obtained by the shell correction method on the (R12,β4) plane is shown. The probability densities are presented. The asymmetric fission of 236U was studied. The dependence of asymmetric fission probability on fragment mass for various values of fission energy and elongation parameter α is shown for 236U. (A.S.)
