Spectral conformational analysis and conformations of diaza-18-crown-6 in some metal complexes

Description

Vibrational spectra of cadmium, europium and some other metal complexes with diaza-18-crown-6 (DA18C6): CdI2·DA18C6, Eu(NO3)3·DA18C6, etc, are studied by IR and Raman spectroscopy. The assignment of the basic vibration frequencies of coordinated DA18C6 id given. When comparing structural and spectral data, ranges of conformation-sensitive vibrations are revealed. Correlations between conformation of NCCO- and OCCO-links and conformation-sensitive frequencies in the range of 800-1000 cm-1 are suggested. 14 refs., 5 tabs
