Measurement of the differential cross section for top-quark-pair production in the dilepton channel at √(s) = 13 TeV with the CMS detector

Description

Measurements of differential top-quark-pair (t anti t) production cross sections are performed using final states with two leptons (e+e-, μ+μ-, and e±μ-+) in proton-proton collisions at √(s)=13 TeV at the CERN LHC. The data were recorded with the CMS detector. The t anti t production cross section is measured as a function of kinematic properties of the top quarks and the t anti t system, as well as of the top quark decay products. The measurements are confronted with several modern Monte Carlo predictions, and are also compared with different perturbative QCD calculations of beyond-NLO accuracy.
