Heavy ion experiments on superconducting tunnel junctions and high-field superconductors

Description

It is shown how to get information from the irradiation of superconducting tunnel junctions with heavy ions: the energy gap as a function of the crystal defects, the tunnel resistance and zero-anomaly of the normal conducting state. From the irradiation of high-field superconductors there is a possibility to investigate the behaviour of superconductors at extreme high crystal defect concentrations. (WL)

Abstract (German)

Es wird gezeigt, wie man aus den Bestrahlungen von supraleitenden Tunnelelementen mit schweren Ionen Informationen ueber die Energieluecke als Funktion der Feldordnung, den Tunnelwiderstand und Nullpunktsanomalie im normalleitenden Zustand erhaelt. Ebenso ergibt sich aus der Bestrahlung von Hochfeldsupraleitern eine Moeglichkeit, das Verhalten der Supraleiter bei extrem hoher Fehlstellenkonzentration zu untersuchen. (WL)
