Single-particle inclusive and semi-inclusive Λ-hyperon spectra in antipp interactions at 32 GeV/c

Description

Peculiarities of Λ hyperons production at 32 GeV/c on the basis of differential and double differential inclusive and semi-inclusive distributions in the p-barp → Λ+x reaction as well as in reactions with the neutral strange particles such as p-barp → Λk0+x, p-barp → ΛΛ-bar+x, and in event with identified P ident poton p-barp → PidentΛ+x, are st udied in detail with the aim of further investigation of hy peron prduction mechanisms. Inclusive an semi-inclusive spec spectra of Λ hyperons produced in p-barp interactions are presented. The Λ-hyperon production processes in different channels are analysed by comparison with the Lund model and with the dual topological unitarization model predictions. The Λ-hyperon parameters are different from those predicted by the Lund model. The main reason of these differences is a one-string production mechanism present in that model, which excludes correlations between the vertices
