Mixed oxide fuel transfer vessel and fuel transfer method
Description
The present invention concerns a fuel transferring vessel for transferring MOX fuels by containing them in fuel protection vessels having a square cross section and transferring the fuel protection vessels by containing them in a basket. One side of the cross section of each of the basket holes is inclined by about 45deg in the fuel transfer vessel is made horizontal, so that each of the protection vessel supports the own weight by walls of the V-shaped basket hole. The movement of fuel protection vessel in the basket hole is restrained by two upper outer surfaces and the walls of the basket hole. The protection vessel is supported in a state where the own weight is distributed, and is restrained for the movement in right-to-left direction, and further, is restrained in the upwarding movement and fixed to the basket hole. Then, the fuel transfer vessel is made compact, so that a large number of MOX fuels can be contained thereby enabling to maximize the capacity. (N.H.)
