Description
About 1000 Fuel Samples of 200 MW High Temperature Gas-Cooled Reactor for irradiation test were manufactured in Institute of Nuclear and New Energy Technology (INET), Tsinghua University. 5 fuel elements were sampled randomly and sent to HFR, Petten, the Netherlands, for irradiation test. This paper introduced briefly the quality assurance system (QAS) for the manufacturing process of fuel samples and focused on the five main factors which affect the quality control and quality surveillance of fuel samples.
