Nucleophilic cleavage of cyclic substituents in derivatives of the closo-decaborate anion

Description
A method was developed for synthesis of derivatives of closo-decaborate anion containing an alkoxy spacer between the functional groups and boron cluster. The structure of PbBipy(B10H9(OCH2CH2)2OEt)·0.5DMFA complex was established using data of IR spectroscopy, 11B NMR and X-ray diffraction analysis. The (2-B10H9(OCH2CH2)2OEt)- anion in the complex acts as a chelating ligand

Разработан метод синтеза производных клозо-декаборатного аниона с функциональными группами, отделенными от борного кластера алкоксильным спейсером. С использованием данных ИК спектроскопии, ЯМР 11B и рентгеноструктурного анализа установлено строение космплексного соединения PbBipy(B10H9(OCH2CH2)2OEt)·0.5ДМФА, в котором анион (2-B10H9(OCH2CH2)2OEt)- выступает в роли хелатирующего лигандаAdditional details
