Modified EPAX2 parameterization for estimating the fragment cross sections at intermediate energies
Creators
Description
The EPAX2 parameterization has been modified for estimating the fragment cross sections in projectile fragmentation reactions at intermediate energies (20–200 MeV/u). The most important improvement in the modified EPAX2 formula is that the influences of target isospin and projectile energy on cross sections are introduced. Compared to experimental data, the modified EPAX2 formula can predict reliably the cross sections, and the target dependence of the cross sections of the fragments far from the stability line can be reproduced for most reaction systems at intermediate energies
