Description
It is shown that water effect on 123 type HTSC begins with removal of easily accessible Ba2+ ions from ceramics to the solution. Then two processes go: ceramics decomposition and reduction of orthorhombic modification to EuBa2Cu3O6.5 without Ba2+ ion passing to the solution. The contribution of the reaction at low temperatures (∼ 60 deg C). Increase of temperature (≥ 80 deg C) leads to decompostion of the major part of the ceramics. It was established that complete reduction of Cu3+ compounds in the ceramics, reacted with water, place at temperatures ≥ 60 deg C
