An installation for restricting the deleterious effects of an accident in a nuclear power-station
Description
The installation forming the object of the invention is characterized in that the first room and the second room are mutually connected by a duct in which, at the second room entrance, are mounted a non-return valve for preventing the back-flow of the air expelled from the first room, and a condenser in the form of a mixing device, comprising at least one container filled with a cooling liquid and a sheath mounted above said container, the inlet portion of which is immersed in said container so as to form with the walls thereof passages for the admission of the steam-air mixture. The invention can be applied to nuclear power-stations in which the coolant is water at high temperatures and high pressures

Le systeme faisant l'objet de l'invention est caracterise en ce que la premiere salle et la seconde salle sont reliees entre elles par un canal dans lequel, a l'entree de la seconde salle, sont montes une soupape de non-retour interdisant le retour de l'air chasse de la premiere salle et un condenseur realise sous la forme d'un dispositif de barbotage comportant au moins un recipient rempli d'un liquide de refroidissement et une gaine disposee au-dessus du recipient et dont la partie d'entree est immergee dans celui-ci de facon a former avec ses parois des passages pour l'entree du melange air-vapeur.
