Abstract (Portuguese)

Tendo em vista as dimensoes da reserva de fosfato da regiao Nordeste do Brasil e a sua localizacao junto a grandes centros urbanos, procurou-se determinar as concentracoes de 222Rn em fontes de agua desta regiao. Para tanto, foram feitas investigacoes iniciais em tres classes de fontes de uma mina da regiao fosfatica de Pernambuco, localizada no municipio de Cruz de Reboucas. A principio determinaram-se as concentracoes de 222Rn por meio de espectrometria gama com Ge(HP) e por espectrometria alfa com celulas de Lucas. Os valores de 222Rn encontrados na fonte de Agua natural (cacimba), riacho e lago, foram respectivamente, 267, 105 e 25 Bq/1 (7.232, 2.854 e 687 pCi/1). (autor)
