Anomalous gluon content of the proton

Description

Origin of the small gA0 (the flavor-singlet axial charge of the nucleon) is discussed from the several viewpoints. It is shown that the pseudo-scalar glueballs and the gluonic ghost coupled to FF tilde do not reduce the value of gA0 in the tree level. Some other effects on gA0 such as the instanton and the semi-perturbative gluons are examined. (orig.)
