Cold resistance of welded joints of low-alloyed high-tensile steels

Description
High-strength steels 14Kh26MR and 126Kh2MFAYu have no tendency to brittle failure and are only slightly sensitive to stress concentration under conditions of static loads at a temperature down to -40 deg C.Resistance to propagation of movable cracks in the high-stress steel investigated is about double that in the steel 0962. The welding materials used and technology of welding high-strength steels ensure equal strength with respect to cold resistance of weld joints and of the main metal
