Cherenkov effect and parametric X-rays

  • 1. Laboratory of Radiation Physics, Belgorod State University, 14 Studencheskaya, 308007 Belgorod (Russian Federation)

Description

Self-diffracted Cherenkov X-rays emitted from relativistic electrons penetrating into the periodic multilayer nanostructure are considered in this work. A distinction is made between this radiation and known parametric X-rays for Bragg scattering geometry
