Description
The nuclear fuel cycle optimization for economics and resource of natural uranium is analysed according to the program of nuclear power development in China during a 26-year-period. The results show that considering the economic aim only, once-through-cycle is better according to recent cost. But if two aims for both the economics and uranium resource are considered, the reprocessing of spent fuel is better. The time of start of operation and the capacity of reprocessing plant and other factors affecting the fuel reprocessing are analysed
