Pressure measuring device in a closed system

Description

A description is given of a pressure measuring device in a pressurized system. It includes a detector housed inside the system and comprising a material having magnetic permeability depending on the constraint applied to it and which reacts to the internal pressure prevailing in the system; a detecting device associated to the pressurized system and located near the detector and which can produce a magnetic field when excited, this field penetrating into the containment wall of the pressurized system and assuring the exploration of the detector. The detecting device thus provides an electric output signal proportional to the constraint applied to the detector. An electronic circuit connected to the detector processes this output signal in order to provide information on the pressure prevailing in the system

Abstract (French)

On decrit un dispositif de mesure de pression dans un systeme pressurise. Il comprend un detecteur loge a l'interieur du systeme et comportant une matiere presentant une permeabilite magnetique qui est fonction de la contrainte qui lui est appliquee et qui reagit a la pression interne regnant dans le systeme, un moyen de detection associe au systeme pressurise et place a proximite du detecteur et susceptible de produire un champ magnetique lorsqu'il est excite, ce champ penetrant dans la paroi de l'enceinte du systeme pressurise et assurant l'exploration du detecteur. Le moyen de detection fournit ainsi un signal electrique de sortie qui est proportionnel a la contrainte appliquee au detecteur, et un circuit electronique relie au detecteur traite ce signal de sortie en vue de fournir une information sur la pression regnant dans le systeme
