Description

Effect of pores of laminar shape oriented in piezoelectric ceramics on the basis of lead zirconate-titanate (LZT) along and across polarization direction, on its dielectric and piezoelectric properties is studied. It is shown that at the expense of principal orientation of anisometric pores it proved possible to produce ceramics with considerable anisotropy of dielectric and piezoelectric properties, similar to anisotropy of piezoceramics with preferential orientation of grains, such as Bi4Ti3O12, Pb4K2Nb10O30, etc. Due to the anisotropy of properties in combination with a high piezoactivity of the LZT type materials of ceramics with oriented pores, electromechanical convertors with characteristics, which can not be attained when using conventional or porous (without pore orientation) piezoceramics, can be constructed
