Adiabatic Hartree-Fock collective-excitation theory
Creators
Description
The variant of the adiabatic time-dependent Hartree-Fock theory applied earlier to the description only of isoscalar excitations is generalized to a wider class of collective motions with an arbitrary amplitude. A collective Hamiltonian is constructed, the quantization of which directly determines excitation energies. The case of monopole isovector oscillations is considered in more detail
