The determination of niobium in the ore by conventional digestion-potassium thiocyanate spectrophotometric

Description

This paper uses the conventional digestion-potassium thiocyanate spectrophotometric determination of Huayangchuan polymetallic ore of niobium. The experiment was carried out to test the temperature and time of digestion, determine the precision of the method and the rate of recovery, the accuracy of the method was verified by standard materials. The test showed that the digestion temperature is 185 DEG C, the digestion time was 24 h, the relative standard deviation of 6 parallel determination of potassium thiocyanate spectrophotometric results is 0.977%, the recovery of 97% ∼ 104%. The method was validated by using niobium ore standard material ( GBW 07155), The results of the 3 Determination of Nb2o5 were: 425 g/g, 455 g/g, 421 g/g, are within the reference range of the standard value (400 ∼ 460 g/g).
