The value of X-ray diagnostics for metastases of an unknown primary tumour
Creators
Description
The results of X-ray examinations of patients with metastases of carcinomas from unknown primary tumours, are discussed. It is seen that examination of the stomach, colon and kidneys only contributes slightly to the location of the primary tumour. The number of false-positive and false-negative examinations makes it an untrustworthy method of diagnosis. (C.F.)
