Description
The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) conducted a nationwide survey of private sector radon mitigators during the fall of 1989. About 480 mitigators were questioned on their radon reduction activities. The survey collected information on characteristics of radon reduction firms, industry practices and costs, and industry use of EPA radon publications and technical assistance programs. This paper summarizes the information obtained through the survey. A comprehensive report on the survey will be published this winter
