Description

The multiple pulmonary leiomyomateous hamartoma (MPLH) is rare. Typical is the difference between the marked pulmonary alterations chest X-ray film and the poor symptomatology. The (MPLH) is observed nearly only in women. The diagnosis is linked to pathological-histological findings. (orig./MG)

Abstract (German)

Das multiple pulmonare leiomyomatoese Hamartom (MPLH) ist eine Raritaet. Charakteristisch fuer das MPLH ist die Diskrepanz zwischen dem ausgepraegten Roentgenbefund und den fehlenden oder geringen Beschwerden des Patienten. Das MPLH tritt praktisch nur bei Frauen auf. Die Diagnose ist ohne pathologisch-histologische Beurteilung kaum moeglich. (orig./MG)
