Description
Some recent experimental data concerning curved monochromators for X-ray synchrotron radiation have been interpreted by using a simple model based on the dynamical theory of diffraction. In particular, a large gain of about 30 observed for Mo Kα radiation by bending a quartz crystal is explained. (Auth.)
