Properties of lanthanide-tungsten oxychlorides, activated by neodymium and europium

Description
Crystallochemical parameters, as well as spectra of neodymium and europium in lanthanum-tungsten oxychloride were obtained and analyzed. It is shown that lanthanide-tungsten oxychloride Ln3WO6Cl3 (Ln - La, Gd) activized by neodymium or europium possesses sp.gr. of P63/m symmetry. Chlorine ions are bound only with lanthanide ions, WO66- anions have the shape of trigonal prisms, coordination polyhedron of lanthanide-ion is a ten-vertex species
