Gravitational coupling of neutrinos to matter vorticity II: microscopic asymmetries in angular-momentum modes
Description
The gravitational coupling of neutrinos to matter vorticity is examined; in the context of the Einstein's theory of gravitation and for technical simplicity considered the Goedel model as the gravitational background, whose matter content has a non-null vorticity has been considered. Dirac's equation is solved by separation of the neutrino amplitudes into invariant angular-momentum and energy modes. These modes provide two distinct representation bases for the algebra of the total angular momentum of the system (one finite-dimensional and the other infinite-dimensional). The presence of a vorticity field of matter generates, via gravitation, microscopic asymmetries in neutrino physics. The angular momentum space appears to be polarized along the direction determined by the local vorticity field Ω sup(→). At the microscopic level, currents are asymmetric along the direction determined by the vorticity field: Neutrino (anti neutrino) currents are larger along the direction antiparallel (parallel) to the vorticity field. In the case of production of pairs under CP violation a net number asymmetry may be generated between neutrinos and antineutrinos. (Author)

Examina-se o acoplamento gravitacional dos neutrinos a vorticidade da materia; no contexto da teoria de gravitacao de Einstein e para simplicidade tecnica, considera-se o modelo de Goedel como fundo gravitacional, cujo conteudo da materia tem vorticidade nao-nula. A equacao de Dirac e resolvida pela separacao das amplitudes do neutrino em modos de momento angular e energia invariantes. Esses modos fornecem duas bases de representacao distintas para a algebra do momento angular total dos sistema (uma dimensional-finita e a outra dimensional-infinita). A presenca de um campo de vorticidade de materia gera, via gravitacao, assimetrias microscopicas na fisica de neutrinos. O espaco de momento angular parece ser polarizado ao longo da direcao determinada pelo campo de vorticidade local Ω sup(→). A nivel microscopico, correntes sao assimetricas ao longo da direcao determinada pelo campo de vorticidade: Correntes de neutrinos (anti-neutrinos) sao maiores ao longo da direcao antiparalela (paralela) ao campo de vorticidade. No caso da producao de pares sob a violacao CP uma asimetria liquida pode ser gerada entre neutrinos e antineutrinos. (M.A.F.)Files
