X-ray diffraction and refinement by Rietveld of ferrites Mn0.65Zn0.35Fe2O4 synthesized by combustion reaction

Description
In this study, samples of ferrite Mn0.65Zn0.35Fe2O4 were synthesized by combustion, using glycine as fuel. The effect of dilution with distilled water reagent on structural characteristic of the samples was investigated. The samples were characterized by XRD and refinement of crystal structure parameters by Rietveld method. It was observed that increasing the dilution contributed to obtain Mn-Zn ferrite phase. The crystallite size ranged from 47 to 53 nm. (author)
