Description
The X- and thermostimulated luminescence of ''pure'' LiF crystals and the crystals with Si, Eu and Mg impurities has been studied in the temperature range from 90 deg K to 420 deg K. The spectral composition of X-stimulated luminescence changes with the nature of the impurity doped and with the temperature of the crystal roentgenization. The results obtained have shown that for LiF crystals the activator luminescence of the same spectral composition is activated effectively both at the electron and at the hole stages of the recombination process
