Activation of Ni, Zr, Sn, Ta, W and Pb in a typical HFR spectrum
Description
Materials that are irradiated in a neutron field will become radioactive. The activation of a number of natural elements has been calculated for an irradiation in a typical HFR neutron spectrum. The activation has been splitted into the contributions of the isotopes of the natural elements. Theoretical activation reduction factors are given for the case that the most contributing isotopes are separated from the irradiated material. (author). 2 refs., 7 tabs
