Description
Accurate determinations of reaction rates at astrophysical energies are very important in stellar structure and evolution studies. The cases of two key reactions, namely 7Be(p,γ)8B and 12C(α,γ)16O are discussed, both from the point of view of their astrophysical interest and of the experimental difficulties in the measurement of their cross section.
