Trapped antihydrogen for spectroscopy and gravitation studies: Is it possible?
Description
Possibilities for trapping and cooling antihydrogen atoms for spectroscopy and gravitational measurements are discussed. A measurement of the gravitational force on antihydrogen seems feasible if antihydrogen can be cooled to of order 1 milli-Kelvin. Difficulties in obtaining this low energy are discussed in the hope of stimulating required experimental and theoretical studies. (orig.)
