Analysis of uncertainties of measurement of organ doses with LiF:Mg,Cu,P in anthropomorphic phantom

Description

In the SURO laboratory experimental determination of organ doses in the anthropomorphic phantom of a one-year-old child was carried out for sciagraphic examination of the chest, abdomen and skull. Thermoluminescent (TL) dosimeters LiF:Mg,Cu,P in the form of chips were used for measurement. To determine the standard uncertainty of the thus-determined organ dose, an analysis of the TL chip and ionization response uncertainties was performed. Estimates of these uncertainties were then used to determine the uncertainty of dose measurement at the point from which the standard uncertainty of the organ dose was subsequently determined.
