Description

Cineoesophagogastroscintigraphy is the study of the transit of a radiolabelled meal through the alimentary tract. This functional imaging technique provides, in a physiological and non invasive way, morphological and quantitative data concerning digestive tract motility (gastric emptying, gastroesophageal reflux). This technique offers various advantages, it does not require intubation, is safe, sensitive, reliable, convenient for routine uses and gives a low radiation burden to the patient
