The biomethane observatory. Benchmark of European streams

This document first proposes a Power Point presentation containing various data which allow a comparison between several European countries (Germany, United-Kingdom, France, Switzerland, Austria, Sweden, Netherlands, Denmark and Finland) in terms of conversion rate of biogas units into biomethane units, of number of biogas units, of number of support arrangements, of number of units and capacity, of capacity and number of plants per input type, of distribution of units per input type and per purification technology. Sheets are then proposed, one per country, which indicate the quantity of biogas injected in the gas network, existing valorisation processes, history of the sector, characteristics of biogas and biomethane units, evolution of number of biomethane units and of the production capacity
