Substoichiometric isotopic dilution analysis of mercury using potassium n-butyl zanthate (Preprint no. AR-39)

Description
A substoichiometric isotope dilution method has been developed for the determination of Hg(II) by solvent extraction employing n-butyl xanthate in chloroform from borax buffer of pH 8.2. A minimum amount of 5μg Hg can be determined with a fair degree of accuracy. (author). 3 refs., 2 tabs
