High-temperature Moessbauer study of the Cu-Cd ferrite system
Description
The magnetic properties of the spinel ferrite system Cdsub(x)Cusub(1-x)Fe2O4 have been studied in the temperature range between 300 and 800 K using the Moessbauer technique. The results show that the Neel temperature decreases with increasing cadmium concentration. The reduced hyperfine fields for A and B iron sites were found to follow the Brillouin function for J = 5/2. The Neel temperatures were also confirmed by ac susceptibility measurements. (Auth.)
