Supplementary remarks on the safety and risks of cardiac pacemakers with radionuclide batteries
Description
The BAM has undertaken the task of compiling the material and construction data and the main nuclide properties (147Pm, 238Pu), of carrying out mechanical safety tests and of measuring the γ-radiation field in the FRG for the equipment offered at present. The results obtained until today are positive. (HP)

Die BAM hat es uebernommen, die Material- und Konstruktionsdaten, die massgeblichen Nuklideigenschaften (147Pm, 238Pu) zusammenzustellen, mechanische Sicherheitstests durchzufuehren und die Messung des γ-Strahlenfeldes in der BRD fuer drei zur Zeit angebotene Geraete zu uebernehmen.
