Radionuclides in rivers and sediments in Slovenia
Description
The concentrations of uranium 238 in drinking water are 0.1 to 50 Bq/m3, the values in underground water are 4 times higher. Radium 226 in rivers is at the level of a few Bq/m3 but in underground and mineral waters can reach values as high as 200 Bq/m3. The concentration of lead 210 is a few Bq/m3, while radium 228 lies within the same range as radium 226. (P.A.)
