Cluster properties and strong octupole correlations in intermediate and heavy mass nuclei
Description
Energies of the cluster type np-nh particle-hole excited states, where n is the number of nucleons in the cluster, are calculated. In is shown that energies of these states take minimal values in nuclei having low-lying collective 1-states and ground state alternating parity rotational bands with δ=1
