4. System of 2-propanol-ethanethjol
Description
Low-temperature gamma-radiolysis of ethanethiol solid solution jn 2-ppopanol is investigated. EPR spectra of the 2-propanol-ethanethiol system depending upon solution composition and the dose absorbed, are presented. The main regularjties of the processes taking place are determined. Values of paramagnetic particle yields ape established for various solid solution concentrations. Possible mechanisms of bleaching of ethanethiol solution with visible light in 2-propanol are considered. The effective protection of 2-propanol with thiol from high energy radiations is shown
