Difference between P and Asub(y) in forward angle inelastic proton-nucleus scattering at intermediate energies
Description
The difference between P and Asub(y) found in inelastic scattering is shown to be mainly due to a kinematic effect characterized by the reaction Q-value when the calculation is carried out in the optimal impulse approximation. Results for 12C, 24Mg, and 28Si are given. (orig.)
