A new long-period derivative of the Au5Mn2 structure
Description
A new monoclinic long-period anti-phase boundary structure derived from the Au5Mn2 structure is observed by means of electron diffraction and electron microscopy. The separation of the APB's is 1.55 nm; they are in (1-bar03) planes and their displacement vector is 1/7[103]. Groups of seven anti-phase boundaries of this type are observed to merge and restore perfect material. (author)
