Modelling of corrosion-electrochemical behaviour of binary titanium alloys
- 1. AN SSSR, Moscow (Russian Federation). Inst. Fizicheskoj Khimii
Description
Experimental and computer modelling of corrosion and passivation of binary titanium alloys with nickel, cobalt, molybdenum and tungsten by the method of corrosion short-circuited coupled was carried out. Results of the investigations explain well the mechanism of doping element influence on corrosion and electrochemical behaviour of titanium alloys and permit determining optimal surface concentration of cathode components necessary for titanium passivation
