Description

Image texture analysis is based on high-throughput extraction of image texture features, it explore the relationships between texture features and tumor heterogeneity, hormone expression, and other information, thus a reliable data support for noninvasive evaluation of tumor biological behavior can be provided. At present, texture analysis has been widely used to identify breast benign and malignant tumors, evaluate molecular subtypes of breast cancer and neoadjuvant chemotherapy efficacy, and estimate the prognosis. It plays an important role in the early differential diagnosis and curative effect evaluation of breast cancer. This paper reviews the principle of texture analysis of MRI image and its application in breast cancer. (authors)
