Corrosion kinetics for chromium-iron alloy in N2O4
Description
Corrosion of chromium-iron (50-80% of Cr) alloys in nitrogen tetroxide at 300-400 and 870-1270 K is investigated. A proportional dependence between the alloy corrosion rate and iron content in them is detected. Interstitials (oxygen, carbon, nitrogen) and thermal treatment effects on the corrosion rate is demonstrated
